Low Iron Glass — Starphire — is an ultra-clear glass substitute for our float glass products. Unlike most clear glasses, which have “green” tints to their edges due to iron particles, our low iron glass is crystal clear and virtually free of any tint.

The difference is in the clarity!

This glass is excellent for designing with vibrant color since its level of clarity allows different hues and shades to stand out boldly on its surface. It’s also perfect for aquariums, windows, tables, or any other use requiring glass that people must see through — it’s so enchanting, you won’t want to stop looking at it!

For this glass variety, we offer square, round, and rectangle pre-cut shapes ready for your purchase. We also offer two different edge options — choose between a regular swiped edge, which is sanded just enough to ensure that edges are safe to touch while maintaining a rugged charm, or a diamond ground (DG) edge with a clean, finished quality perfect for when people will constantly be in contact with the glass’s edges.
